We are pushing a hotfix to address recent game crashes players have been reporting. The update will be pushed at 6:45 PM EST and servers will be down for roughly 15 minutes.

We would also like to thank everyone who sent in their reports via the crash report tool. We receive these reports directly, which help us locate the problems at a faster rate when more obscure crashes take place, especially if the player lets us know all they can about when the crash occurred through the provided comment section of these reports.

If you continue to experience any issues regarding game crashes, be sure to verify your game files through Steam.

Hello everyone and welcome to a new year of Fault!
‍2020 had a lot of ups and downs for the world, and we are thankful to have such a great community to have spent it with. In today's dev blog, we take a quick look at the life of Fault so far, while also informing everyone of our plans for the future.



Fault 2020
After 1 year and 7 months of hard work from the founding members, and 3 major alpha events where we opened servers to thousands of players, Fault launched its Early Access on 07/17/2020. Since then the game has seen many updates, content releases, community events, and more! Below we have prepared a look back at everything that has been released since EA launch.

Happy new year Fault fam!

Patch 0.12.0 goes live at 4pm EST!

Servers will be down for roughly 20 minutes as we push the update containing Morigesh and more balance/bug fixes.

NEW: Morigesh ‍
Morigesh is the first combat mage coming to Fault and as such is designed to get closer to her targets than typical mages, deal good sustained damage while also having a method of prolonging her survival. While Morigesh lacks the range of other mages with both of her main abilities being close to ranged basic attack range, she does gain utility, damage and sustain with her E ability and consistent and reliable damage with her RMB, Q and Ultimate. Heroes NEW: Riktor
Riktor is a an offensive control tank that is most characterized by his pull ability. Pull heroes in MOBAs are a staple archetype that adds atremendous tactical and mechanical element to MOBA gameplay, and Riktor will be the first to provide that for Fault. As a control tank, he has very limited mobility and a large hit box, making him vulnerable to getting picked out and eliminated. Winterfest 2020 is almost here!
We are happy to announce that we will be holding our second limited-time in-game event from the 21st of December until January 4th!

As always, we like to include something for players to remember the event, so just like in Shadowfest we have exclusive avatars available for Wintervale, a discount on all Winter skins and two double EXP weekends!

We will also be sending out more information through out the event on upcoming Twitch community events, Dev streams, and a hat and mask giveaway!

We just pushed an update containing a fix for the recent perma-stun bug, Muriel has returned to the battlefield!

Project Gearhead is at 100% power!

We will be pushing patch 0.10.0 containing Gadget along with some bug fixes and balance at 6 pm EST today.

Gadget is now available to all Season 0 Pass holders!

Gadget is our first artillery mage in Fault and is designed for long range bombardment and harassment. Both of her main damage abilities (Q and RMB) have extended ranges versus typical mage abilities, and her passive is designed to allow her to more frequently bombard her enemies with spells if she is accurate with her abilities. Her E ability is her only form of self-aid and is crucial to her safety, as she is quite vulnerable due to having some of the lowest base health and base movement speed of all mages.
